Creepiest Songs Ever
Okay, so i was on my twitter today and the phrase #songsthatgivemegoosebumps was trending on the side of my timeline. Now you can take that meaning a bunch of different ways. As in the songs that mean the most to, songs you can relate to, or songs that just have chilling lyrics. But I am going to take this term to the most literal sense. I'm going to show you three songs that will send shivers down your spine when you hear them and that will make you feel that you aren't alone in the dark anymore.
#1- Tiptoe Through the Tulips by Tiny Tim. There is something about this song that gives me goosebumps. Personally Tim's little shriek that comes up through the song is the most chilling effect. Maybe its the lyrics that seem so peaceful but his voice makes the almost eerily peaceful. Or finally, maybe its the ukulele that belongs no where near Tiny Tim.
#2- Little Boxes by Malvina Reynolds. I find the eeriest thing about this song to be the fact on how right Malvina is about society. This song came out in the 1960's and it still holds true to todays society even though its been about a half century later. Another aspect of this song that makes it so creepy is how her voice goes with the little rhythm of the guitar that doesn't change throughout the song. Reynolds' voice also adds to it too.
#3- Living in the Sunlight by Tiny Tim. AHH and here we go with Tiny again. Well his voice is just as creepy and the effing ukelele is still there. This by far wins the creepiest intro award as Tiny Tim starts talking to you. Listening to it with headphones on just puts a tingle in your spine.
